Creating The Perfect Portfolio

Every once in a while I stumble on an article that matches my view so closely that I wish I had written it. Well it just happened again. Creating The Perfect Portfolio basically takes a lot of what I have experienced and puts it in an easily digestible format for all of you looking to get a creative job or to start out as a freelancer.

Change of direction

That’s it! I’ve gone to the dark side, that is, I’m no longer indie. I accepted a very exciting job over at Ubisoft and won’t be able to freelance anymore. But I’m not taking the freelance info down! I’ll probably even write more of it because I have accumulated freelance knowledge that I haven’t gotten around to write down yet. I’ll probably write some tips about the game industry in general too, and keep posting art that’s for sure! So stay tuned!

Glide On

I just finished work on my latest project, PipistrelCanada’s homepage. Pipistrel is a Slovenia based glider and ultralight planes manufacturer and I worked on the website for the local dealer. He provided me with beautiful photos and I worked from a free template to keep the project affordable for the client.

I’m quite happy with the finished product aside from a weird bug that happens only in some versions of MSIE, and not in other browsers.

And the gliders are pretty cool too!
